Who are Friends of the Ford?

Friends of the Ford are people just like you, people who recognize and appreciate the important role that the Ford plays in our community's cultural life. Friends of the Ford have taken that extra step: they support the outstanding programs at the Ford by pledging an annual donation.

Support from our Friends of the Ford helps us provide quality programming at affordable prices all summer long. You may have noticed our extended season as well as many other improvements this year, this is partly due to the wonderful support of all our Friends.

And, of course, by becoming a Friend of the Ford, you will also be able to enjoy the special privileges we offer exclusively to our Friends.

Members hear from us with advance notice about upcoming programs, performances, and special events - including events just for Friends of the Ford! Members also enjoy priority ticket ordering and preferential seating at the Ford Amphitheatre. In addition, Friends of the Ford at the Director's Circle level and above are eligible to call the Ford Theatre Foundation Concierge to reserve a picnic table in the Ford's beautifully landscaped entryway.

What does my donation do?

The Ford Theatre Foundation is a not-for-profit organization and is currently using Friends of the Ford donations to support the Ford Amphitheatre summer season, including Big!World!Fun! (our Saturday morning family programming), and Chamber Music Under the Stars series (our classical series). With your support, the Ford Theatre Foundation has been able to create diverse and affordable performing arts programming of exceptional quality designed to attract audiences who might otherwise not have an opportunity to experience the depth and variety of talent found in Los Angeles County.
